THE VISION OF CAMPUS MOVEMENT SEMO
BUILDING LABORERS ON THE CAMPUS TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL CHURCH IN REACHING THE LOST WORLD

FOR THE CAMPUS
We believe the college campus is one of the most strategic places for ministry for three main reasons:

Student Availability
Students have more time available in their college years than virtually any other time in their lives. We desire to use this time to build relationships with students, share the gospel with them, and raise them up as laborers.

Worldview Development
The campus is a place where students develop their beliefs and perspectives about God, people, self, and the world. This means exposure to the good news of Jesus is vital in these formative years.

Birthplace for Leaders
The college campus exports graduates who will become the world’s next generation of leaders. Leaders who have been changed by Jesus Christ can then make a difference for Christ in the world wherever they go.
FOR THE CHURCH
Our ministry exists to come alongside local churches, not to replace or compete with them. We believe that Jesus entrusted the task of making disciples primarily to His Church, and so we intentionally partner with local congregations to help equip and mobilize them for this calling. By working together, we seek to connect students to the life of the church, encourage long-term discipleship, and extend the reach of the gospel through unified, Christ-centered efforts.
FOR THE
WORLD
Our goal is to change the world for Christ through obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We want to be a part of bringing the gospel to every people, tribe, tongue, and nation (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Revelation 7). It is our aim that spiritual leaders would be exported from the campus to have a gospel-centered impact on those around them as they live the rest of their lives in the church, in the workplace, in families, in missions, and all areas of life.

CAMPUS MOVEMENT
At Campus Movement, we deeply value the local church. We believe every student involved in a college ministry should also be connected to a local church community. Campus Movement SEMO is a ministry of Cape Bible Chapel. To learn more about Cape Bible Chapel, click here.
